WHAT'S A TELE-CLASS?
Are you new to the concept of a "tele-class" or a "tele-seminar"?
It's a class or seminar that is held on the telephone using a bridge line, similar to a conference call. It's convenient because you can participate from the comfort of your home!
How Does A Tele-Class Work?
Once you register for a Group Program, I will give you the telephone number and the special PIN code.
The telephone number is a long distance call to a bridge line in the U.S. You will be responsible for the long distance telephone charges. Please see the tips below for ways to minimize the cost.
You call at the scheduled time of the class.
When you dial the bridge line, you'll be asked to enter the PIN code and "#" sign. Once completed, you are on the call. Say "hello" and introduce yourself so I know you are present.
Each session will focus that week's topic. There will be opportunities for sharing and questions throughout the Program.
At the end of the session, we say "good-bye" and simply hang up.
How To Minimize Your Long Distance Telephone Charges
- Check http://www.1010710.com. If this service works from your calling area, you pay a flat rate of only 99 cents for up to 110 minutes a call. The charge is billed on your regular telephone bill.
- Use a prepaid long distance telephone card which is available at many convenience stores.
- Check with your current telephone service provider for the best possible plan
As you can see, modern technology has its advantages. Distance and location are no longer barriers from participating in group programs. Nor are bad weather or traffic jams.
You may be surprised at the sense of community that develop during the tele-classes, even though you are not together in person.
